Dear Star Trek fans and friends,

As you surely now know, efforts by us, the fans, to save the show Star Trek Enterprise failed, and the show was cancelled.  To add insult to injury, the finale episode which closed out the remarkable 17-year run for modern Star Trek was a poorly constructed insult to the intelligence and sensibilities of us, the fans.  A large campaign was initiated by fans to resurrect it, but all efforts fell on deaf ears at Paramount, Viacom, and of course, UPN.

I will not go into detail here as to what those efforts all involved, since the whole thing was a failed effort anyway.  We are faced with the end of an era, which may be just as well since the quality of shows (most of Voyager, the first three seasons of Enterprise) revealed a frightening decline in both storytelling ability as well as moral compass.

In addition, my ability to get this site properly up and running has virtually fallen completely apart, due to family, church, and work obligations.  My plans still include getting all episodes of the Original Series, The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Voyager, and Enterprise reviewed and ranked.  Portions of all of this have already been done, but that's the problem:  it's only partially done and there's a long ways to go.  Therefore, for now, this site will go into a status of "on hiatus" until such time that I can devote my time and effort into putting together a truly good review site. 

In the meantime, enjoy airings of TNG and DS9 on Spike TV, the Original Series on Sci-Fi channel, and Voyager and Enterprise in syndication.  I will, at least occasionally, post reviews of episodes of these shows on rec.arts.startrek.reviews (Google Groups) and/or startrek.com.  If Christ doesn't come back first, I will eventually get those reviews and other resources posted here on this website.
